A unitary government system is one in which the central government has complete and total control over it its country. The local government have some power at certain times but it bows down to the central government. An example of this sort of government system is the People's Republic of China.

A confederation government system is one in which the local governments have more control than the central government. The central government wouldn't exist without the local government.  An example of this is the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, ASEAN.

A federal government system is a political system where the people have most of the power. An example of a federation system of government is India. 

 

An autocratic government is one which the ruler has absolute power to do whatever he wishes and  makes and enforces whatever laws he chooses. A good example of this would be North Korea.

 

An oligarchy means government by the few. In this form of government a political party or other small group takes over a government and makes all of the major decisions. An example of this would be the People's Republic of China.

In a democratic government system the people play a much greater role in deciding who the rulers are and what decisions are made.Examples of a democracy in SEA, India, Japan, and South Korea.
